Dynamic Edge Announces 2008 Technology Grant Program
September 19, 2008
Dynamic Edge is pleased to announce the launch of our 2008
Technology Grant Program. Established in 2007, the program assists
local non-profit organizations fund a project they may have put
aside due to funding issues, lack of expertise, or both. Last year,
Dynamic Edge awarded grants totaling $7,500 to several agencies in
the Detroit Metro and Ann Arbor areas. This year, we have increased
that amount to $10,000 in order to extend grant awards to the
greater Nashville area (home of the newest Dynamic Edge office) as
well.
Through the Technology Grant program, Dynamic Edge will help
local non-profit organizations fund a project they may have put
aside due to funding issues, lack of expertise, or both. Dynamic
Edge aims to assist local non-profits by (1) provide start up
funding for a specific IT project, (2) helping organizations
assess and budget for their long term IT needs, and (3) assessing
and improving an existing technology project.
“In the current
economic climate, we feel that small businesses need to come to the
aid of our non-profit community partners,” said Bruce McCully,
owner. “Quality of life and community are very important to Dynamic
Edge, and we have made community service part of our ongoing
business goals.”
Applications for the Technology Grant Program will be accepted
online through October 15, 2008. Additional details about the
program, as well as application instructions for the grant awards
are available at
